We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced male CNA or HHA caregiver to join our growing home care team serving Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach. This position is for day shifts in a private home setting, providing attentive, high-quality care while ensuring the client's safety, comfort, and well-being.
We are looking for a caregiver who is patient-focused, reliable, and confident working independently while delivering exceptional home care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on caregiving experience
- Valid CNA license or HHA certificate required
- Availability to consistently work day shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
- CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility, transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention
- Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition to the care team
- Assist with medication reminders when permitted
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care, including laundry and meal preparation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate effectively with families and staff
