Duties

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and independence among infants and toddlers.
• Manage daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor activities with sensitivity to individual needs.
• Use behavior management techniques to guide positive behavior and address challenges effectively.
• Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and support ongoing learning at home.
• Incorporate specialized practices such as special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learners.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and developmental assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a secure environment for children’s welfare.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies tailored for infants and toddlers.
• Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, Montessori methods, and lesson planning for early learners.
• Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions.
• Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classroom activities efficiently while maintaining a nurturing environment.
• Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
