Position Overview

As a Mart Team Member, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for our customers and in maintaining the store. You’ll assist shoppers, stock shelves, handle products with care, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout the store.

Open Positions & Primary Responsibilities

1. Cashier

• - Operating the cash register in an accurate and efficient manner.
• - Bagging groceries with care.
• - Greeting customers and providing courteous, professional service.
• - Answering customers’ questions patiently and helping them find items.

2. Stocking

• - Receiving and unloading deliveries.
• - Stocking shelves, rotating products, and recording expired items and returns.
• - Practicing proper food handling procedures to ensure product quality.
• - Maintaining an organized warehouse and display area.

3. Maintenance

• - Regularly cleaning floors, bathrooms, and backrooms.
• - Collecting shopping carts and baskets from the parking lot and store.
• - Performing appropriate parking lot and store maintenance and upkeep.
• - Ensuring a safe and hygienic shopping environment for all.

4. Security

• - Monitoring the store premises to prevent theft and ensure safety.
• - Conducting regular patrols of the sales floor and entrance.
• - Responding to incidents and reporting any suspicious activity.
• - Assisting with crowd control and emergency procedures when necessary.

* Preferred Qualifications

• - High school diploma or equivalent.
• - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• - Punctual attendance and flexible availability.
• - Strong communication and organizational skills.
• - Prior retail, grocery, or customer service experience is a plus!
