ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for reconciling accounts payable prior to check run.
• Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile general ledger.
• Enter all manual check transactions into the Finance System.
• Input, analyze and reconcile reimbursements.
• Process and pay expenditures and debt service transactions.
• Responsible for reconciling bank statements and cash/investment accounts.
• Liaison with bank for all banking/investment services.
• Prepares various financial reports and statements.
• Assists in the preparation of the annual budgets.
• Uses and follows the policies/procedures of You Thrive Florida, including but not limited to
Personnel Policies, Occupational Health and Safety policies, payroll policies/practices, etc.
Payroll Processing:
• Responsible for payroll processing as needed by department.
• Coordinates work of payroll, interpret and explain payroll policies as required.
• Processes varieties of authorized payroll deductions for employees.
• Process, verify and update all changes to employee records and tax forms.

JOB STANDARDS:
Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
Experience: If no degree a minimum of five (5) years’ of finance related experience required or with a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, a minimum of three (3) years’ of related finance experience required.
Licenses & Certifications: Must have valid driver license and be insurable under the Company’s current insurance carrier. Subject to federal, state and local legal requirements/background checks/clearance for working with vulnerable populations.
CRITICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, & EXPERTISE:
Physical Requirements: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Talking, standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, use of fingers, arms, hands, legs, walking, stretching/reaching, handling, grasping, climbing, bending at the waist, turning, balancing, pushing, pulling, use of depth perception, carrying and lifting (up to 65 lbs.), and driving are constant. Good eyesight (correctable)and hearing (correctable) are essential.
Equipment: Computer, facsimile, copy machine, calculator, switchboard, multi-line phone and other small office and instructional equipment, and vehicle.
Skills & Expertise: Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures and the ability to apply such knowledge to accounting transactions. Knowledge of the law, rules and regulations controlling budgetary fiscal record-keeping and contract procedures of the agency. Knowledge of auditing procedures.

Job Location: Primary location is the corporate office in Brooksville, FL. Work Environment: While performing the responsibilities of the position, these work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the employee will encounter. Office environment a while working alone or with others is constant. Working with office equipment is frequent. Occasionally outdoors and operates a vehicle.
