Are you an exceptional musician with a passion for teaching the next generation of rockstars? You Rock School of Music is actively hiring talented Band Instructors to join our team in Cranston, RI!
We’re looking for creative, engaging, and skilled musicians who love working with kids, teens and adults. If you can also teach or play drums, guitar, bass, piano, voice, songwriting, or music production, that’s a huge bonus.
About Us
You Rock School of Music is a modern, student-focused music school dedicated to making music education engaging, inspiring, and fun. We combine strong musical foundations with real-world playing experience, helping students grow as musicians through performance, creativity, and collaboration.
Our programs emphasize playing in bands, building confidence, and developing a lifelong love of music—all in a supportive and high-energy environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience teaching or leading bands and group classes
- Ability to teach one or more: drums, guitar, bass, piano, voice, songwriting, or music production (strong plus)
- Performance experience (gigging or band leadership preferred)
- Comfortable working with kids and teens (K–12)
- Able to teach beginner to intermediate students (advanced experience is a plus)
- Energetic, reliable, and personable
- Willing to participate in performances, events, and occasional promotional content (paid)
Qualifications
- Music degree or equivalent real-world experience (we value working musicians)
- Teaching experience preferred (but we’ll train the right person)
- Comfortable with basic music tech (GarageBand, Logic, Protools, DAWs, etc.) is a plus
- Must bring positive energy and know how to make learning fun

Studio Hours
- Mon–Thurs: 3 PM – 8 PM
- Fri: 3 PM – 6:30 PM
- Sat & Sun: 10 AM – 6 PM
