About The Role

As Senior AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI capabilities across Generative AI (e.g., large language models) and Search. Your responsibilities will focus on researching, building, and deploying innovative product experiences that redefine the potential of AI assistants. By blending your technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of AI technology, you will thrive at the intersection of research and engineering and shape the future of AI-powered products.

Responsibilities

• AI Infrastructure Development: Oversee and enhance the core you.com LLM and AI infrastructure, along with the associated backend systems.
• End-to-End Project Leadership: Lead the development of new AI-driven projects, encompassing ideation, prototyping, research, infrastructure design, scalability, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Rapid Iteration: Adapt quickly to user feedback and evolving requirements, ensuring continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience improving backend and/or AI systems, with familiarity using Python
• Deep understanding of systems architecture
• Experience in shipping and scaling AI products
• You are an autonomous and highly-driven team player with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and performance
• You are curious and have a strong ability to conduct both research and core engineering work
• Equivalent experience or relevant coursework to a BS or MS in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field.
  
  

Our salary bands are structured based on a combination of geographic tiers and internal leveling. Compensation is determined by multiple factors assessed during the interview process, with the final offer reflecting these considerations.

Salary Band

$200,000—$260,000 USD
