Ministry Overview
You Can Mentor exists to start a national mentoring movement by equipping and encouraging mentors and mentoring leaders. We help Christian mentors and mentoring ministries thrive through practical resources, life-giving relationships, and intentional collaboration. Our heart is for kids from hard places, and our goal is to help mentoring leaders lead in a healthy way and to help their organization be equipped with best practices to serve in the best way possible.
About the Role
Our goal is to take both organizations to the next level and to facilitate organic growth collaborations. The goal of You Can Mentor is to grow towards a national Christian mentoring movement by equipping and encouraging mentors through resources and relationships.
We are looking for someone who is organized, relationally intuitive, and energized by turning vision into reality. You’ll partner directly with our Executive Director to ensure nothing falls through the cracks as we expand our network, equip leaders, and spark a national mentoring movement. In a perfect world, this person would build systems to keep us organized, instead of just single-handedly managing tasks. You will work closely with the Executive Director.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage the Executive Director’s schedule, tasks, and priorities
- Oversee podcast cohort logistics (guest coordination, scheduling, communication)
- Manage systems and tools (email, calendars, project management software)
- Track key deliverables and ensure timely follow-through
- Help run day-to-day operations and improve workflows
2. Event Planning & Execution
- Help plan and execute the National Christian Mentoring Gathering, Ten Thousand Fathers Summit and other events (Coordinate venues, vendors, communication, surveys, and follow-up)
- Maintain an ongoing pulse on the capacity and needs of the network
- Explore opportunities for new gatherings or regional events
3. Network Relationship Management
- Maintain ongoing communication with our network of mentoring ministries / men’s leaders
- Support mentoring leaders through resources, encouragement, and collaboration
- Help coordinate our monthly Learning Labs and digital meetups
- Collaborate with like-minded ministries to expand collective impact
- Develop marketing strategies to attract more organizations to our work
Qualifications
- Strong Christian character and alignment with the mission of You Can Mentor & Ten Thousand Fathers.
- Experience in administration, project management, or operations preferred
- Experience in ministry, nonprofit, or mentorship contexts preferred
- Proficiency in email platforms, calendars, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills — verbal and written
- Bonus: Experience with podcast logistics, event planning, social media, and/or CRM tools
Position Details
- Hours: 24-40 hours per week additional seasonal event responsibilities
- Location: In-person with some remote flexibility
- Reports to: Executive Director
- Compensation: $40,000 - 60,000
