Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling bakery products according to established recipes and procedures
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as needed for consistency
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling, processing, and storage protocols
- Support food production operations by using mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance when necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in baking, or food preparation is highly desirable, especially within bakery, or restaurant kitchen environments
- Ability to work quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained
- Comfortable working early mornings or overnight shifts

- Knowledge of sanitation practices, HACCP guidelines, and CGMP standards is preferred
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, knives, and potentially forklifts with proper certification

- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for precise inventory management
