We are currently seeking a Lifeguard to join our team at Yost Pool. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests at our pool facility. ```Responsibilities```
- Monitor the pool area and ensure the safety of all guests
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
- Provide excellent guest service by assisting with inquiries and addressing any concerns
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness and functionality
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and report any issues or repairs needed
- Administer first aid or CPR as necessary
- Collaborate with other lifeguards and staff members to maintain a cohesive team
```Experience```
- Must possess current Lifeguard certification
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety protocols
-Must be able to make rescues in the clothes they intend to guard in
- Previous experience in lifeguarding or related roles preferred
- Familiarity with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
-Must be willing to work Weekend shift ragularly:
10 am to 1 p.m. on Saturday
7 am to 10 am Sunday
Be able to operate independently if necessary
