Shift: Monday – Thursday 6am to 4pm; occasional Fridays when needed. In person at our Brunswick, OH Location

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Production and stage employees

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains the production environment to ensure safe quality food is being produced as directed.
• Handles daily food processing, metal detection, packaging, and pallet building to meet quality standards and customer need-by dates as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of production rooms and recycling/trash area.
• Adheres to Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) to minimize potential cross contamination.
• Removes waste from production areas and other areas as needed.
• Contributes to discussions and decisions pertaining to recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining production crew members
• Supervises and completes daily sanitation
• Monitors equipment assembly and performance for maintenance issues.
• Enforces all safety policies on the production floor.
• Maintains communication between management and employees to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed.
• Provides coverage for production crew members, stage crew members, and the Production Manager.

Requirements:

• Preferred one - three years’ experience in food processing or any manufacturing facility
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the flexibility to learn new technology, SAP and ERP systems and document control systems.
• Forklift Certification – Current forklift license preferred. Ability to pass and maintain a forklift certificate is required by OSHA.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing (especially food manufacturing) experience preferred.
