Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of tableware, chairs, and supplies following safe lifting practices
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all areas of the dining space, including floors, tables, and service stations
- Support food handling procedures by ensuring proper sanitation during food service operations
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
- Assist with light food service tasks when needed, supporting the overall flow of restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
- Familiarity with cleaning, sanitation, and table setting techniques is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of supplies or equipment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality practices is a plus but can be learned on the job
