Yorkville District 115 is seeking an Assessment Team Facilitator for the Early Childhood Program. We are seeking to hire a certified individual who maintains a positive attitude in the work environment, collaborative, data driven, has a strong understanding of special education, and creates positive relationships with parents, staff and Early Intervention agencies. We are looking for exceptional candidates who will assist our district in becoming exemplar as it relates to seeking and implementing strategies for improving early childhood assessments, transitions from EI to EC, and individual education programs. for all students. This person will work collaboratively in professional learning communities to achieve goals with a common purpose focused on student learning.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION / POSITION SUMMARY:
Yorkville CUSD has an opening for a full time 1.0 FTE Assessment Team Facilitator. This position serves as the primary liaison and process manager for students transitioning from Early Intervention (EI) or entering through Preschool Screenings. The role ensures legal compliance through IEP management, facilitates multidisciplinary team collaboration, and streamlines the administrative transition for new families entering the district.

Performs other related tasks as assigned by the program administrator and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
Licensure: Valid State Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an Early Childhood setting, specifically working with the Early Intervention preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) compliance, specifically regarding Section 619 (Preschool) regulations and timelines.
Prior leadership experience a plus
Starting Salary: $51,612 /BS 0, year 1
