The Opportunity:
- A busy, varied caseload with the support staff and thoughtful scheduling to back it up, including at least two full weekends off every month
- Full medical autonomy and a consistently strong surgical schedule
- Ability to provide mentorship and support to students attending externships
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a DVM in a small animal GP or urgent care setting is required for this role
- Large and modern facility with full in-house diagnostics, including dental and digital x-rays, ultrasound, and lab
- Surgical and therapeutic laser
- 1:1.5 doctor-to-tech ratio
- Active externship site for multiple veterinary programs, with a pathway to join our mentorship team
- Enjoy easy access to kayaking, fishing, biking, and hiking along the Fox River, Saw Wee Kee, and Hoover Forest Preserve
- Starting salary of $135,000-$160,000 plus production bonuses
- Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus
