Yorktown Manor, a skilled nursing facility in Yorktown, IN, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON / ADNS / RN) to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for an RN with prior nurse management experience in long-term care who is ready to make a positive impact on resident care and support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department.
Review nurses’ notes to ensure accurate documentation of resident care, medications, and treatment plans.
Conduct daily rounds to observe quality of care and provide guidance to staff.
Collaborate with physicians, residents, and families to ensure exceptional care.
Assist the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator with MDS scheduling, planning, and revisions, including RAPs and triggers.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
At least 1 year of nurse leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility (ADON, ADNS, or DON role preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Must be 18 years or older.
