What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Yorktown Animal Hospital?
Job Description :duties/skills required but not limited to:
Excellent customer service skills and comfortable speaking with the public
Basic receptionist skills: Ability to multi-task, handle multiple phone lines as well as a full office of clients, data entry, computer use and chart filing.
Must have legible handwriting
Working knowledge of veterinary terminology and ability to phone triage issues.
Light housekeeping to maintain the reception area for clients
To maintain a calm and cheerful demeanor when interacting with our clients and patients.
To interact with our clients professionally and courteously in a manner adhering to our company’s core values and mission statement.
To work with team members, supervisors, and clinicians in a respectful manner, engaging in healthy feedback to maintain or better the quality in which we treat our patients.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
