Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
- Operate POS systems such as Toast for retail sales transactions and cash register operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining cash handling procedures
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling orders and managing food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and kitchen equipment operation
- Manage customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure overall satisfaction during their visit
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Previous experience as a Barista is highly desirable but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is preferred
- Strong food service customer order management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store operations is a plus
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Food preparation or culinary experience is beneficial but not required
