Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and safety-conscious Warehouse & Delivery Associate to support our plumbing and mechanical operations. This position is responsible for receiving and organizing materials, maintaining accurate inventory, delivering parts to job sites, and keeping the warehouse, shop, and company fleet clean and orderly.
Essential Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, equipment, and supplies; verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect shipments for damage or shortages and promptly report discrepancies.
- Label, stock, organize, and maintain materials in their designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with routine and periodic inventory checks.
- Pull, stage, load, and deliver parts, tools, materials, and equipment for service calls and construction projects.
- Safely load and unload company vehicles and delivery trucks.
- Keep the warehouse, shop, storage areas, and yard clean, safe, and organized.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of company fleet vehicles.
- Properly store and secure tools, equipment, and materials; notify management when stock is low.
- Follow company safety procedures and assist warehouse, shop, and field personnel as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
- Dependable, punctual, and available to work Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Warehouse, inventory, delivery, forklift, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical-material experience is preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, push, and pull throughout the workday.
- Safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds; use assistance for heavier items.
- Work in warehouse, shop, yard, vehicle, and job-site environments under varying weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour. Benefits include employer-paid health, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, plus an optional IRA retirement plan with company match, subject to plan eligibility requirements and company policies.
