What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve resident meals and special function dishes at the proper temperature, following resident preferences, menus, standardized recipes, and portion guidelines.
- Take charge of food service operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain detailed logs for food temperatures, refrigeration, dish machines, cooling, sanitization, and more.
- Follow HACCP policies and maintain proper food handling and safety standards.
- Receive and store food supplies, ensuring all items are properly labeled, dated, and stored according to guidelines.
What You Need
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions and observe safety rules.
- Understanding of therapeutic diets, dietary consistencies, and standardized recipes.
- Ability to use kitchen equipment, cleaning chemicals, and supplies safely and correctly.
