A Day in the Life
- Run punch press machines safely and efficiently, following established production procedures.
- Load raw materials and remove finished parts with care and consistency.
- Check parts against measurements and visual standards to confirm accuracy and detect defects.
- Interpret work orders, simple diagrams, and written instructions to complete tasks.
- Record production data and keep your workstation organized and clean.
- Assist with basic machine setups and minor adjustments (training provided).
- Flag mechanical issues or safety concerns to your supervisor promptly.
What You Bring
- Minimum 6 months of machine operating experience; prior manufacturing exposure is a plus.
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow written directions.
- Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and lifting 30–50 lbs.
