You clock in, review the day's build plan, and open a fresh set of blueprints. With a tape measure at your side and hand tools ready, you begin assembling components to precise specifications. Along the way, you solder small connections, verify dimensions, and run quality checks so every unit meets our standards. When a part doesn’t align, you flag it quickly and work with your supervisor to resolve the issue. Your bench stays tidy, your PPE stays on, and you wrap up the shift by suggesting process tweaks that could make tomorrow even better.
What you'll do
- Interpret basic blueprints and follow written instructions to assemble components accurately.
- Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks to ensure products meet company requirements.
- Keep your work area organized, clean, and safe throughout the day.
- Collaborate with teammates to refine assembly steps and improve throughput.
- Promptly report discrepancies, defects, or equipment issues to your supervisor.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
