York Employment is hiring a Fleet Service & Maintenance Technician to support our client's expanding operation in Krugerville, TX. If you enjoy hands-on vehicle work and take pride in safe, high‑quality repairs, this is a strong next step in your career.
A day in the life
You start your shift by reviewing assigned work orders in NetSuite. You stage tools and parts, then dive into routine services and manufacturer/dealer-standard repairs. Every diagnosis is captured using the Concern–Cause–Correction (3C) method to ensure clarity and accuracy. Between jobs, you keep your bay clean and organized, complete safety inspections, and communicate any delays or additional findings to service management. When qualified, you may head out on a road service call. You'll also pitch in with facility upkeep and occasionally assist with vehicle deliveries. Throughout the day, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction guide every decision.
What you will do
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to OEM and dealer specifications
- Document diagnostics and work performed using the 3C method
- Track tools, parts usage, and labor time within NetSuite
- Participate in road service calls (as qualified) and complete safety inspections
- Keep the shop clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards
- Promptly communicate status updates, delays, or concerns to service management
- Follow all safety/compliance procedures and maintain current certifications
- Assist with facility maintenance and vehicle deliveries as needed
Schedule & travel
- Monday–Friday, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. (shifts may vary)
- Occasional overtime and weekend work
- Some travel may be necessary
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma
- Completion of PDI Technician Certification Program
- EPA 609 certification
- Wheelchair system training (Braun/Ricon)
Preferred
- Vocational or trade school certification
- 2 years of professional experience in heavy-duty vehicle repair
- 1 year of experience in electrical diagnostics and repair
