The Ready-Mix Dispatcher / Batching Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily concrete orders, assigning loads to drivers, and operating the batching system to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient delivery. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a solid understanding of ready-mix production and logistics.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule and assign concrete loads to drivers based on delivery times, job locations, and production capacityOperate and monitor the batching system to ensure accurate mix designs and quantitiesCoordinate with plant operators, drivers, sales, and customers to adjust schedules as neededTrack orders, loads, and deliveries in dispatch/batching softwareCommunicate delivery updates, delays, and changes to customers and internal teamsEnsure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and company proceduresMonitor truck availability, cycle times, and job site conditionsResolve delivery or production issues quickly and professionallyMaintain accurate records of loads, tickets, and production reportsQualificationsPrevious experience as a Ready-Mix Dispatcher, Batcher, or similar role requiredKnowledge of concrete batching systems and mix designsStrong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize orders and make real-time scheduling decisionsProficient with dispatch and batching software (Command Alkon, Jonel, or similar preferred)Basic computer skills and data entry accuracySalary info:$25 - $27 / hr
