We are hiring a full-time (40 hours weekly), non-exempt Support Payment and Warrant Specialist. The purpose of this position is to perform complex accounting and record keeping duties in the collection of support, court costs and fees associated with family court orders.
Projected Salary Range/Pay Grade 107: $16.95 - $20.34 per hour. Salary is determined based on qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reads, interprets and inputs orders signed by the judge into case management system.
- Issues, recalls and monitors bench warrants and arrest orders; follows all federal, state and local requirements.
- Receives and processes payments by cash, checks, and credit card to appropriate accounts.
- Audits and adjusts child support and alimony cases.
- Balances and prepares bank deposit daily; process checks to be mailed.
- Assist public, county officials, employees and other agencies with information pertaining to each group.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduation or GED equivalent.
- Two (2) years in a law office or court setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Notary Public Commission.
Applicants with equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.
Physical Demands: Physical demands refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement.
- Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.
