Site Manager – York Senior Center
Position: Site Manager
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and organized Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Senior Center. The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults, is self-motivated, and can create a welcoming and engaging environment for our senior participants.
Responsibilities
- Supervise seniors attending the Senior Center and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
- Oversee the Home Delivered Meals Program, including coordinating meal distribution.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate recreational, educational, and social activities for Senior Center participants.
- Assist with occasional home-delivered meal routes when needed.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere while interacting with seniors, volunteers, and staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina driver's license.
- Reliable personal vehicle with the ability to occasionally deliver meals.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Experience working with older adults or in a community service setting is preferred but not required.
