Position Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Six Sigma Faculty to teach a face-to-face section of SCM325 (Six Sigma Process Management) during the spring 2027 semester. The instructor will deliver engaging and practical instruction aligned with industry standards. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, facilitating class discussions, assessing student performance, and supporting learners in achieving academic success. The ideal candidate will bring six sigma experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student learning. Other undergraduate and/or graduate classes may be available in the future if interested.

Hiring an adjunct faculty member to teach SCM325 (Six Sigma Process Management).Essential Functions
- Teach in-person SCM325 (Six Sigma Process Management) class in spring 2027. May also have opportunities to teach other undergraduate and/or graduate classes in the future. The specific courses will vary from semester to semester and the availability of courses to teach depends on the needs of the GSB.
- Prepare course materials, assess student performance, and provide timely feedback to students.
- Communicate effectively with and support students, which includes making use of our learning management system.
- Adjunct faculty who are teaching courses are required to hold one on-campus office hour each week.
Experience and Education Required
Master’s degree in Operations Management or a closely related field (doctorate preferred).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Professional six sigma experience required.
- Prior teaching or training experience at the college level strongly preferred.
