Superintendent
Salary - $110,000 - $150,000
Location - Redmond, Oregon
Schedule - Full time, Monday – Friday, 40-50 hours per week
The York Bros Excavation Superintendent will help plan the implementation of construction projects and be responsible to oversee their progress in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Superintendent will be responsible for the field-management, organization, implementation, scheduling, and daily oversight of ongoing projects. Responsibilities & Duties
- Field supervision: Coordinate all on-site activities and supervise all field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Safety and compliance: Ensure all safety procedures and standards are strictly followed on the job sites.
- Coordination: Lead meetings and coordinate activities with subcontractors, foremen, suppliers and other site personnel.
- Quality control: Implement quality control measures and ensure the work adheres to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Scheduling: Create and manage schedules forall deliverables, staffing, machinery, trucking, and subcontractors all project sites. Work with foremen to set daily priorities.
- Budget and cost control: Monitor project costs and manage budgets effectively.

Requirements
- 5 years in Civil Construction as a Superintendent
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Construction plans & specifications experience and comprehension
- Expert knowledge of excavation techniques, details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Understanding of all facets of excavation
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
