Yonkers Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Structural Steel Project Engineer with 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
· Develop specific work plans for erecting or demolishing structural steel bridges and sign structures. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
· Collaborate with structural design teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
· Provide engineering support during the construction phase, addressing technical issues and resolving on-site issues related to structural steel fabrication and erection.
· Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
· Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
· Proven ability to collaborate and function effectively as part of a team
· Proven experience in structural steel work for heavy civil construction projects
· Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
