Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth operations
- Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate billing procedures
- Previous host/host experience or serving roles is highly desirable
