About The Role

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for California, Arizona and Nevada to lead sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market presence within the assigned region. This role will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing Business Development Managers, supporting Inside Sales, and driving revenue and profit growth across agricultural, forestry, industrial, construction, and commercial truck tire segments. Due to the travel demand for this position, candidates who currently reside in California, Arizona or Nevada are preferred and there is not relocation offered for this role.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and experienced sales leader with strong knowledge of the off-highway tire industry, proven team management experience, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers and business partners.

SALES TERRITORY: California, Arizona and Nevada

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the assigned region in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Manage, coach, and support a team of Business Development Managers within the assigned territories.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales to ensure strong customer support and effective execution of sales activities.
  • Drive sales revenue and profit growth within the assigned region.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate new accounts, particularly in underperforming areas.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, competitive positioning, price schedules, and discount structures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and business partners.
  • Meet with key clients to support relationship management, negotiations, and closing of business opportunities.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key customers and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at regional trade shows, industry events, and association meetings to promote YOHTA products and brands.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports covering sales volume, potential opportunities, market trends, and proposed customer or regional expansion.
  • Monitor competitor activities, products, pricing, and market behavior.
  • Manage the regional sales budget effectively.
  • Support the overall growth and market penetration strategy for the assigned region.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory as required, up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8 to 15 years of sales experience, preferably within the tire, off-highway, agricultural, construction, industrial, forestry, or related industry.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a sales team.
  • Established record of sales leadership and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the off-highway tire industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies.
  • Strong customer relationship management, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Ability to analyze market conditions, customer needs, pricing, and competitive activity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound business judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, set goals, and develop realistic action plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Dependable, accountable, and able to follow through on commitments.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take initiative, identify opportunities, and act independently.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the assigned territory up to 75% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary for this position will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. The total compensation package also includes eligibility for annual variable compensation. In addition, this role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
