The Growth Segment Manager – Solids leads the North American growth strategy for key off-highway tire segments including Forklift, Telehandler (THL), Loader Solids, and POB applications. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, this role drives market expansion, develops go-to-market strategies, and delivers aggressive sales and margin targets across YOHTA's growth segments.

About The Role
The Growth Segment Manager – Solids leads the North American growth strategy for key off-highway tire segments including Forklift, Telehandler (THL), Loader Solids, and POB applications. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, this role drives market expansion, develops go-to-market strategies, and delivers aggressive sales and margin targets across YOHTA's growth segments.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Product & Portfolio
- Own and manage the Solid tire product portfolio aligned to North American market needs.
- Guide new tire development in collaboration with the product team based on customer and market insights.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual sales and margin targets.
- Identify, develop, and secure new channel partners, including National accounts, Rental fleets while growing share of wallet with existing accounts.
- Partner with AM and National accounts Managers to negotiate and close key deals.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to strategic clients.
- Analyze market data to assess customer needs, pricing structures, and competitive positioning.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine product and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns for Solid tire segments.
- Represent YOHTA at key industry trade shows and events across North America.
- Support pricing strategy development and forecast for business development.
- Works between regional sales teams and Finance, Marketing, and Product Managers.
- Ensure accurate sales reporting, pricing compliance, and timely information flow to Supply Chain and Logistics.
- Communicate segment strategies and resources needs to YOHTA senior leadership.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for assigned segments with detailed sales and margin forecasts.
- Track performance against targets and implement corrective action plans as needed.
Qualifications
- 4 Year College Degree (advanced degree preferred) with 15 years of industry experience, or 10 years of experience in the tire industry including 5 years’ experience with OHT tires.
- Experience with various product segments of off-highway tires including development process familiarity.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to visit customers and provide training.
- Outstanding time management skills with organized habits
- Sound communication skills and ability to reach out to other departments if working independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present factual data in a concise and organized manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong skills in other computer programs (e.g., Navision, SAP, etc) strongly preferred.
