Packaging Technician- 10 hour Shift, Mon-Thursday- 1st Shift Category : Production or Manufacturing Employment type : Contract Reference : BH-392839 Yoh has an immediate, 6 month contract (with the possibility of extension or full-time hire) opportunity as Packaging Technician to join our client, OnSite to report to their office in Gainesville, FL 6-Month (with the possibility of extension or full-time hire) Monday thru Thursday, 10 hour days- long weekends! 1st Shift (5AM-3:30PM) :$16/hr. ***Background Check including Employment Verification Required*** The Packaging Tech's role is to assist the Supervisor Packaging in supporting company objectives to meet or exceed the needs of our internal and external customers by meeting production goals and ensuring that all quality, compliance, and safety objectives are met. This person will support other packaging employees in managing resources responsibly, efficiently, and safely. What You Will Be Doing To work with alacrity and a positive attitude to meet or exceed the needs of our internal and external customers by meeting production goals and ensuring that all quality, compliance, and safety objectives are met. To use teamwork, communication, and kindness to support other packaging employees in managing resources responsibly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining a positive environment. Perform area clearances. Perform visual inspections. Clean controlled areas. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories of packaging materials and implants. Know and comply with all department safety policies and procedures. Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards. Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary. Understand and follow all SOPs for the Packaging Area. All product or process non-conformances are documented and/or brought to the attention of the team leader or designate for disposition. Package Implants/Instruments according to SOP Who You Are Experience in clean room operations or other medical device manufacturing. High School Diploma required. Attention to detail, record keeping skills. Basic computer skills required. Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to follow established/documented procedures.
