Seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to guide teams that support regional and mid-market customers. This role focuses on developing technical talent, supporting complex customer engagements, and strengthening operational consistency across the presales engineering organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on, high-velocity environment and enjoys coaching engineers, solving technical challenges, and building new processes as the team scales.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a group of Solutions Engineers, cultivating an inclusive and high-performing team culture.
* Provide hands-on technical support for escalations, solution design, and architecture guidance across a platform that blends cloud, networking, and hardware devices.
* Identify operational gaps, propose improvements, and build new programs that streamline workflows and enhance team impact.
* Collaborate with sales, product, support, enablement, and marketing to improve communication and alignment on customer needs.
* Support career development through coaching, constructive feedback, and structured learning opportunities.
* Travel up to approximately 25% based on business needs.
Top Required Skills
* Experience leading Solutions Engineering or equivalent technical presales teams.
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and security-related concepts.
* Background partnering closely with sales and product organizations to drive customer outcomes.
* Ability to build or refine programs, processes, or initiatives that elevate team efficiency and consistency.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
