Principal Responsibilities
- Assemble medical devices and components according to detailed instructions and specifications.
- Perform quality checks on subcomponents and assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Report any issues or defects in the assembly process to the Production Lead or Quality Control Associate.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of assembly tools and equipment.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities to enhance production processes.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and blueprints.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Proficient with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and ERP software.
Working Conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, and move within the production area for long periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
- May be required to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
