Job Functions:
- Characterize biologic molecules using advanced techniques to monitor stability and degradation pathways.
- Design and execute formulation strategies for liquid parenteral drug products.
- Participate in the technical integration of injectable formulations with device delivery systems.
- Train/Mentor junior scientists, lead matrixed project teams, and collaborate closely with Device, Quality, and Regulatory departments. Qualifications
- Scale-up and transfer of drug product manufacturing processes to clinical and commercial CMO/CDMO sites.
- Author and review high-quality technical reports, protocols, patents, and CMC modules for IND/BLA regulatory submissions.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- PhD or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a highly related scientific discipline.
- 10 years of progressive industrial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector with late-stage deliverables.
- Experience in developing sterile injectable dosage forms from early stage to commercialization.
- Experience developing and evaluating drug-device combination products under relevant design controls.
- Success developing and transferring injectable drug product processes.
- Strong technical writing capability and a proven ability to effectively work with internal and external teams.
