Required Skills:
- 10 years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development
- Proficiency in Core Java 11 including streams, data structures, algorithms, and REST API creation
- Deep expertise in event-driven architecture, messaging, and streaming technologies such as Kafka and SQS
- Strong SQL experience, including relational database design, version control, and NoSQL systems like DynamoDB or MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with AWS provisioning using CloudFormation or Terraform, including services like S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, EKS, and Kinesis
- Advanced knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines from inception
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity for mentorship and stakeholder collaboration
- Experience with Liquibase or other database versioning tools
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud architecture
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Demonstrated success in developing enterprise-scale applications within agile teams
- Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, with onsite presence required every other week
- Ability to pass relevant technical assessments, including coding and cloud-specific evaluations
- Certification in AWS (such as AWS Solutions Architect or Developer) is desirable but not mandatory
