Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing development methods and testing drug product samples using the following analytical techniques:
- Particle size (DLS)
- Chromatography (HPLC)
- Fluorescence assay (Ribogreen)
- Capillary electrophoresis
- Osmolality, conductivity, pH
Additional duties include:
- Documenting analytical test results using an electronic notebook
- Completing and tracking sample requests to internal Analytical Science group
- Managing shipping and receiving of samples to contract labs
- Compiling data in spreadsheets and collaborating on data analysis with process development team members
- Assist in process development studies as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in science (chemistry, biology, etc.) or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in an analytical laboratory setting
- Hands-on experience in multiple analytical techniques preferred
- Experience setting up new analytical equipment and establishing development methods based on current GMP methods
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work and communicate cross-functionally
- Ability to be flexible and responsive to change, be a results-driven problem solver
