Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or at minimum, Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma accompanied with transcripts
- Must be comfortable with blood draws/labs
- Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player
- Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee
What You'll Be Doing:
- Room patients and vitals
- POC testing and immunizations/injections
- Assist with medical testing such as: EKGs, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, respiratory treatments, and urine collection/testing
- Maintain employee health records (using EPIC)
- Assist with physicals, sick visits, and well-woman exams
- Medication reconciliation
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Support the Nurses and providers with all aspects of the clinic
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Must be able to consistently work Monday - Friday around 8:00am to 4:30pm (can be flexible on shift times, between 7am and 5pm)
- BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - only online not accepted)
- Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold test
- Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking
