Quant Developer (KDB+/Python) Hybrid NJ W2 Only

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10 years of professional experience in quantitative finance or trading systems
• Advanced proficiency in KDB /q, including time-series data modeling, high-performance querying, and real-time analytics
• Strong Python skills focused on quantitative analysis, AI/ML model development, and system integration
• Experience working with large-scale, high-frequency, or noisy datasets
• Solid software engineering practices including Git, testing, and modular design
• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java) and Linux scripting
