Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Elko, NV   

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• One (1) year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in Acute Care setting  
• Ability to work 4-10 rotating schedule (Mon-Thur /Tues-Fri 8am-7pm) with two (2) scheduled weekends per month (Sat/Sun 8am-2pm)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing comprehensive acute, occupational, and wellness care in workplace or clinic settings, including but not limited to: conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing procedures like suturing and wound care, ordering diagnostic tests, developing care plans, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate patient medical records in EPIC.
• Manage injured worker cases, implement transitional duty programs, and ensure compliance with regulations like OSHA.
• Additional duties as required.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Active and unrestricted Nevada NP or PA license
• Current BLS certification
• One (1) year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in Acute Care setting  
• EPIC Experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 4-10 rotating schedule (Mon-Thur /Tues-Fri 8am-7pm) with two (2) scheduled weekends per month (Sat/Sun 8am-2pm)
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Strong communication skills
