Part-Time Dog Waste Removal Technician Job Overview

We're a family-owned business seeking one Part-Time Dog Waste Removal Technician to join our team. You’ll help keep our customers’ lawns clean and enjoyable. Enjoy working outdoors, meeting friendly dogs, and taking pride in maintaining beautiful properties across Reno, Sparks, and Carson City.

Position Highlights

• Fixed schedule: Thursdays & Fridays, 9:00 AM – ~3:30 PM (6–7 hour shifts).
• Weekly hours: 12–14 hours.
• Pay: $20.00 per hour.
• Equipment: Company truck, tools, and supplies provided.
• Workload: Service up to 25 properties per shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow a detailed cleaning process to ensure all areas of each property are thoroughly serviced.
• Use GPS and an iPad for navigation, job documentation, and time tracking.
• Safely lift and dispose of waste (up to 50 lbs total per shift).
• Maintain friendly, professional interactions with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Availability: Must be able to work both Thursday and Friday, starting at 9:00 AM.
• Comfortable around dogs and genuinely enjoys being outdoors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions common to the Reno/Sparks/Carson City area, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.
• Ability to bend, lift, walk, sit, and stand repeatedly for extended periods.
• Ability to carry up to 30 lbs in one hand throughout the shift.
• Comfortable navigating uneven terrain, wet grass, and seasonal yard conditions.

Additional Requirements

• Proof of legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license, clean background check, and ability to pass a drug test.
