Social Media Manager

Location: Mount Kisco, NY
Job Type: [Part-Time]

We are looking for a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to help grow and manage our yoga studio's online presence. The ideal candidate is someone who understands social media strategy, enjoys creating engaging content, and is comfortable visiting the studio regularly to capture photos and videos.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  
  
• Visit the studio in Mount Kisco to capture photo and video content
  
  
• Create engaging Reels, Stories, posts, and other short-form content
  
  
• Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar
  
  
• Write captions that reflect the studio's brand and community
  
  
• Help grow engagement and build an online community
  
  
• Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest creative content ideas
  
  
• Collaborate with the studio team and instructors to highlight classes, events, workshops, and other offerings
  
  
• Monitor social media performance and provide insights and recommendations
  
  

Nice to have:

• Previous experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand
  
  
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
  
  
• Experience creating short-form video content, including Reels and TikToks
  
  
• Comfortable shooting and editing photo and video content
  
  
• Able to visit the studio in Mount Kisco, NY regularly to create content
  
  
• Strong understanding of current social media trends
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  
• Creative, organized, proactive, and able to work independently
  
  
• Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools is a plus
  
  
• Experience in the wellness, fitness, yoga, or lifestyle industry is a plus
