Product Designer

Yoga International
Louisville, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 4/24/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/23/2026

Summary

Yoga International is looking for a Product Designer who is excited to make a meaningful impact on a small, mission-driven team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership from idea to launch, and is energized by the opportunity to shape a product that meaningfully transforms people’s lives for the better.

You’ll work across web, mobile, and TV platforms to design thoughtful, user-centered experiences for a global community of yoga practitioners. As our sole product designer, you’ll play a critical role in connecting product vision, engineering execution, and user needs.

About the Product

Yoga International supports yoga practitioners across their full journey:

  • Classes → daily practice and habit formation
  • Courses & Challenges → structured learning and progression
  • Premium Trainings → deeper study, certification, and personal transformation

We are building an ecosystem that meets users where they are—and helps them grow over time.

As Product Designer, you’ll help shape how users move through this journey in a way that feels intuitive, supportive, and inspiring.

What You’ll Do

Product Design & Execution

  • Design intuitive, high-quality experiences across desktop, mobile web, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and TV apps
  • Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
  • Design end-to-end user flows, interactions, and edge cases, not just static screens
  • Create thoughtful experiences across multiple platforms, adapting patterns appropriately
  • Ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with engineering constraints
  • Maintain a high bar for clarity, usability, and simplicity—prioritizing function over unnecessary complexity
  • Contribute to and evolve a cohesive design system across all platforms

User Experience, Research & Data

  • Design with a user journey–first mindset, ensuring cohesive experiences across the full lifecycle
  • Conduct and synthesize user research (qualitative and quantitative) to inform design decisions
  • Plan and execute usability testing and iterate based on insights
  • Use product data and analytics to evaluate feature performance and guide improvements
  • Leverage both qualitative insights and quantitative data to continuously improve the user experience
  • Identify friction points and opportunities across onboarding, engagement, and retention

User Journey & Growth Optimization

  • Design for the full user lifecycle, including anonymous, free, and paid user experiences
  • Optimize for key business outcomes including conversion, engagement, and retention
  • Identify and improve critical moments in the user journey (onboarding, activation, upgrade, re-engagement)
  • Partner with product and data to test and iterate on growth opportunities
  • Balance user needs with business goals to create experiences that are both valuable and sustainable

Product Ownership & Analytics

  • Own features from ideation through launch, including post-launch analysis and iteration
  • Attend daily stand-ups, own your kanban board, stories, story pointing, and launch dates
  • Write clear acceptance criteria and create stories for engineers
  • Co-define success metrics and track product performance on an ongoing basis
  • Report on product data weekly, sharing insights, learnings, and recommendations
  • Partner with BI and Data Engineering to define tracking, instrumentation, and dashboards
  • Translate data into clear product decisions and prioritized improvements

Product Operations & Collaboration

  • Lead creative briefs and product meetings, ensuring alignment and clarity
  • Take organized notes and track decisions, next steps, and timelines
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, content, and marketing to deliver cohesive experiences
  • Partner with QA to ensure quality and consistency across releases

Systems & Process

  • Develop and maintain design system standards
  • Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for design workflows and new feature development
  • Bring structure and organization to a fast-moving, evolving product environment

AI & Innovation

  • Identify and design opportunities to integrate AI into the product experience
  • Use AI tools to accelerate design workflows (research, ideation, content, prototyping)
  • Explore how AI can support personalization, discovery, and user guidance
  • Ensure AI features are human-centered, intuitive, and add real user value

Who You Are

  • Highly autonomous and organized—you can manage multiple workstreams and keep projects moving
  • Enthusiastic and proactive—ready to jump in to make a difference in the usability and day-to-day experience of our members and our business goals
  • A user-centered thinker who grounds decisions in research and data
  • Strong foundation in human-centered design principles, with the ability to translate user needs into practical product solutions
  • Interested in applying the psychology of habit formation and learning science to design
  • Comfortable working on growth-oriented problems, including conversion, engagement, and retention
  • Comfortable working with product data, metrics, and analytics tools
  • Strong communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a small team with high ownership and accountability
  • Equally technical and creative—you can think through edge cases and execution details while maintaining a strong design perspective

Qualifications

Tools & Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Figma (components, systems, prototyping)
  • Experience with Google Analytics (or similar product analytics tools)
  • Comfortable with Google Suite for documentation and collaboration
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) for research, ideation, and workflow efficiency

Bonus Experience

  • Background in yoga, meditation, or wellness
  • Experience in learning experience design (LXD) or education platforms

Why This Role is Unique

  • You’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product experience and performance
  • You’ll help define how product design, analytics, and systems operate within a small team
  • You’ll contribute to a product that supports habit formation, learning, and transformation
  • You’ll help shape how AI enhances the user journey in a meaningful, human-centered way
  • This role has a direct impact on business performance, shaping how users discover, engage with, and invest in their practice
  • There is significant opportunity to grow into a senior or lead role as the product evolves
  • US citizenship or existing work visa required.
  • Non-smoker
  • Must be able to work in our office in Louisville, Colorado.

Compensation

  • Type: Salary
  • Range: $90000 - $120000 (USD)
