Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software
- Handle cash drawer management, including cash handling, balancing, and reconciliation
- Maintain knowledge of retail products, services, and promotions to effectively inform customers
- Support daily store operations such as stock replenishment, data entry, and inventory checks
- Assist with loan processing and collections for financial services offered within the store
- Ensure the checkout area is organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or retail store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cash management, and retail math calculations
- Familiarity with financial software or data entry systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
- Ability to perform cashiering duties including processing cash transactions and 10-key typing efficiently
- Experience in banking or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail for loan processing and cash drawer accuracy
