What are the responsibilities and job description for the Value Engineering Lead position at Yochana?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 5 years of Supply Chain experience.
- Execute VAVE/Cost Reduction/Cost Optimization projects
- Costed BOM Analysis (Multi-level BOM)
- Physical/Digital Product Teardown (Stripping down product to lowest level i.e., child-part level)
- Conduct brainstorming/ideation sessions – for generating cost reduction ideas
- Ideas screening and ranking – Remove duplicate/impractical ideas and rank remaining ideas on certain parameters
- Technical evaluation of ideas (design/material/process change etc.)
- Ability to study and analyze Design requirements, Materials, Manufacturing Processes and identify Cost drivers.
