Role : Certified medical coders (AAPC/AHIMA certifications preferred)
Location: Remote USA
Duration: Contract
- Code Assignment: Review clinical documentation to accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes for physician and outpatient services
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all assigned codes match strict government, insurance, and organizational regulations to minimize claim denials
- Provider Communication: Query and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to clarify missing, ambiguous, or incomplete medical records
