Client is seeking a Journeyman Financial Management/Budget Analyst to support the Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) Delta 11 Financial Management Team.
🎯 Key Requirements:
- 5 years of DoD financial management, budgeting, accounting, or resource management experience
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force preferred
- Strong knowledge of DoD budget formulation & execution
- Experience with DEAMS and/or CCaRS preferred
- Experience with AF Form 9s, MIPRs, purchase requests & funding documents
- Experience with funds control, reconciliation, financial reporting & execution tracking
- Knowledge of FIAR, audit readiness & internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Financial Management, or related field
💼 What You'll Do:
• Track budgets, obligations, expenditures, and financial execution
• Prepare spend plans, forecasts, reports, and financial briefings
• Process and reconcile funding documents and financial transactions
• Support DEAMS and CCaRS financial activities
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions
• Maintain audit-ready financial documentation
• Support financial reviews, working groups, and leadership engagements
