As a Medical Technologist at Yoakum Community Hospital, you will have the chance to demonstrate your proficiency in using both manual procedures and automated analyzers. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be key as you conduct tests, troubleshoot any discrepancies in Quality Control, and notify nursing units of any critical results. You'll also maintain and calibrate instruments and assist in keeping the laboratory organized and fully stocked.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist is required.
- Registration with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate day and night shifts as needed.
