This role is responsible for ensuring efficient product flow, meeting delivery requirements, improving productivity, and maintaining safety and quality standards across multiple warehouse locations.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of finished goods, accessories, replacement parts, and samples Maintain warehouse capacity and recommend improvements to material-handling systems Drive operational improvements and implement new methods to maximize productivity Create strategies for merchandise flow within the distribution facility and off-site storage locationsLeadership People Management Directly supervise shift managers and oversee 3050 warehouse employees Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff; manage performance, corrective actions, and development Plan labor requirements and schedules, especially around peak/seasonal needs Communicate expectations, hold staff accountable, and foster team performanceInventory Management Quality Develop and enforce processes for receiving, storage, shipping, inventory accuracy, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance Implement regular audits and adhere to company quality standards Maintain safe and compliant operations across the facilityMetrics Continuous Improvement Track KPIs, conduct audits, perform observations, and develop action plans Lead operations meetings, set goals, and drive accountability Identify and resolve operational gaps using proven problem-solving methodologiesCommunication Collaboration Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and customers as required Provide clear written and verbal communication across teams Support company culture by demonstrating core values: Safety, Quality, Respect, ServiceBudget Compliance Assist in annual budgeting for capital expenditures and operating expenses Monitor and control expenses throughout the year Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety practicesRequired Qualifications Bachelors degree OR 510 years of warehouse experience (minimum 5 years in warehouse management) Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Ability to analyze data, calculate percentages/areas/volumes, and use metrics to drive performance Strong problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex issues Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to adapt to change, handle pressure, and adjust prioritiesPreferred Qualifications Experience implementing or upgrading a Warehouse Management System (WMS)Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform warehouse tasks for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) if requiredAdditional Information Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule based on business needs Reliable, consistent attendance is required Must follow all safety policies and wear PPE as needed
