Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations
- Independently conduct imaging procedures under physician supervision
- Customize examinations based on patient presentation and diagnostic findings
- Recognize abnormalities and obtain additional diagnostic images as needed
- Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism
- Collaborate with physicians and imaging team members
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to department protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or equivalent two-year allied health program
- ARDMS registered with ABD or OB/GYN credential
- Minimum of 2 years of paid scanning experience
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience in a Level I trauma center
- Experience with Epic EMR
