Mandatory Requirements
Current/recent experience as a Chief Architect in Optical DSP.
Minimum 10 years in DSP algorithm development, system architecture & ASIC design for optical communication systems.
No job hoppers; stable career history required.
No employment breaks accepted.
Strong expertise in coherent optical transmission, DSP algorithms, ECC, modulation, SerDes, ADC/DAC, and mixed-signal design.
Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in EE, CE, or related field.
Role Overview
Lead the system architecture of next-generation DSP solutions for high-speed optical communication (800G/1.6T ). Drive architectural definition, algorithmic innovation, and cross-functional collaboration across hardware, firmware, photonics, and RF teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define end-to-end architecture for high-speed optical DSP chips.
Enhance algorithms for equalization, CDR, ECC, and core DSP functions.
Execute system-level modelling and simulations (MATLAB/Python/C ).
Optimize DSP performance, power, and area in partnership with ASIC and firmware teams.
Ensure seamless integration with optical front-end and photonic components.
Establish KPIs, validation methodologies, and performance benchmarks.
Align architecture with market, customer, and industry trends.
Preferred Skills
Experience with OIF standards, real-time embedded DSP, and photonic IC co-design.
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence.
